EBHOOM Terms of Service

1. EBHOOM EMS

EBHOOM EMS is an environmental management and monitoring platform. Depending on a customer's deployment, EBHOOM EMS may provide access to environmental monitoring information relating to water, wastewater, flow, energy, air quality, emissions, equipment, communication status, and related operational information.

2. ChatGPT Integration

The EBHOOM EMS ChatGPT integration allows authorized EMS users to request information from their EBHOOM EMS account using ChatGPT. The current integration provides read-only capabilities including:

• Live EMS monitoring status
• Current-day environmental parameter exceedances
• Historical exceedance information
• Daily-average EMS reports
• Data-gap or missing-data reports

3. Read-Only Operation

The ChatGPT integration is currently read-only. It does not provide functionality to:

• Modify environmental monitoring records
• Delete EMS records
• Change regulatory or configured limits
• Change sensor configuration
• Operate pumps, motors, blowers, valves, or other equipment
• Change device configuration
• Issue industrial control commands
• Perform financial transactions

Any operational control functionality available elsewhere in EBHOOM products is outside the scope of the current ChatGPT integration unless expressly introduced in a future version with appropriate controls and updated terms.

4. Account Requirements

Users must have an active and authorized EBHOOM EMS account to access protected EMS information through ChatGPT. Users are responsible for:

• Keeping login credentials confidential
• Using only accounts they are authorized to use
• Maintaining the security of their account
• Immediately reporting suspected unauthorized access
• Ensuring information provided to EBHOOM is accurate

You may not share access credentials with unauthorized persons.

5. Authorization and Permissions

The information available through the ChatGPT integration is determined by the permissions associated with the authenticated EBHOOM EMS account. Use of the integration does not create additional permissions. Users must not attempt to:

• Access another customer's EMS information without authorization
• Circumvent EMS permissions
• Manipulate authentication or authorization mechanisms
• Obtain another user's credentials or access tokens
• Probe or exploit EBHOOM infrastructure
• Interfere with the availability or security of the service

6. Acceptable Use

Users may use the integration for legitimate environmental monitoring, reporting, operational analysis, compliance support, troubleshooting, and related authorized business purposes. Users must not use EBHOOM services:

• In violation of applicable law
• To gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• To introduce malware or malicious code
• To interfere with the service
• To misrepresent retrieved environmental information
• To circumvent security controls
• To access information beyond their existing EMS permissions

7. Environmental and Operational Information

EBHOOM EMS may receive information from sensors, meters, data loggers, gateways, APIs, communication networks, customer systems, and other monitoring equipment. Environmental and operational information may be affected by:

• Sensor accuracy
• Calibration
• Equipment failure
• Communication loss
• Power interruptions
• Network availability
• Installation conditions
• Device configuration
• Maintenance
• Third-party systems
• Data-processing delays

Users should evaluate important environmental or operational decisions using appropriate professional judgment and, where necessary, confirm information using source instruments, regulatory systems, laboratory analysis, or other appropriate methods.

8. Regulatory Compliance

EBHOOM EMS may assist users with environmental monitoring, reporting, data availability, exceedance identification, and related workflows. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, use of EBHOOM EMS does not transfer responsibility for regulatory compliance from the customer to GoodFoot Sustainability Private Limited. Customers remain responsible for understanding and complying with the laws, environmental permits, regulatory requirements, reporting obligations, and operating standards applicable to their facilities.

9. ChatGPT-Generated Responses

Information obtained from EBHOOM EMS may be summarized, interpreted, formatted, or explained by ChatGPT. ChatGPT-generated text is generated by OpenAI's systems and may not reproduce source information perfectly. Where accuracy is important, users should review the underlying EBHOOM EMS data. Users should not rely solely on an AI-generated response for emergency response, regulatory certification, legal advice, or safety-critical industrial decisions.

10. Third-Party Services

The EBHOOM EMS ChatGPT integration depends in part on services provided by OpenAI. Use of ChatGPT is also subject to the terms, privacy practices, workspace policies, and service availability applicable to the user's OpenAI account. EBHOOM is not responsible for the independent operation of third-party services outside our reasonable control.

11. Privacy

Our processing of information is described in the EBHOOM Privacy Policy: https://ebhoom.com/privacy-policy. By using the ChatGPT integration, users understand that information returned by an EBHOOM EMS tool is transmitted to OpenAI as necessary for ChatGPT to provide the requested response.

12. Intellectual Property

EBHOOM software, trademarks, product names, interfaces, documentation, designs, and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to GoodFoot Sustainability Private Limited unless otherwise stated. These Terms do not transfer ownership of EBHOOM intellectual property to users. Customer-owned environmental or operational information remains subject to the customer's applicable agreement with EBHOOM.

13. Availability and Maintenance

We aim to maintain reliable service, but availability is not guaranteed at all times. Services may be interrupted because of:

• Maintenance
• Software deployment
• Infrastructure failure
• Internet or network outages
• Third-party service outages
• Security events
• Events outside our reasonable control

We may modify or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable contractual commitments.

14. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to:

• Protect EBHOOM systems
• Prevent unauthorized access
• Investigate security incidents
• Address misuse
• Comply with law
• Enforce applicable contractual obligations

Users or customers may discontinue use of the ChatGPT integration by disconnecting the EBHOOM EMS connection. Termination of the ChatGPT integration does not necessarily terminate the underlying EBHOOM EMS customer account.

15. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, EBHOOM services are provided subject to the applicable customer agreement and service conditions. We do not guarantee that:

• Every sensor reading will be available at all times
• Communication networks will be continuously available
• AI-generated summaries will be error-free
• Third-party platforms will remain continuously available
• Every regulatory requirement can be satisfied solely through use of EBHOOM EMS

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

Any liability relating to a customer's contracted EBHOOM EMS service is subject to the applicable written agreement with GoodFoot Sustainability Private Limited and applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GoodFoot Sustainability Private Limited will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting solely from reliance on automatically generated ChatGPT responses where the underlying EMS information was available for independent review. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect:

• Service changes
• New capabilities
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• Security requirements
• Changes to the ChatGPT integration

The latest version will be published on this page with the applicable effective or last-updated date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

18. Governing Requirements

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to GoodFoot Sustainability Private Limited in India, subject to any mandatory rights, jurisdiction requirements, or contractual terms that apply to the customer. Where a separate written customer agreement conflicts with these Terms, the applicable written customer agreement will control to the extent of the conflict.
